3D Product Mockup: L’Oréal
Project Overview
This project is a comprehensive 3D product visualization of the L’Oréal Paris Wrinkle Expert moisturizer. The primary objective was to achieve absolute photorealism by focusing on precise material creation, from the refractive properties of the glass jar to the soft, realistic texture of the cream. Rendered entirely in Blender, this case study explores various lighting environments and dynamic compositions to highlight the product’s premium identity and elegant design.
Behind the Scenes
A convincing 3D mockup relies heavily on attention to detail. This section highlights the technical workflow behind the scenes. The process began with accurate hard-surface modeling of the packaging, followed by precise UV mapping to flawlessly integrate the high-resolution brand labels and typography. Custom shaders were developed to simulate realistic light interaction with the glass and plastic surfaces. Finally, tailored lighting setups were constructed to emphasize the product’s silhouette, reflections, and depth.
